Anikkattilamma Temple

Anikkattilamma Temple is a 1600 year old temple situated in Anicadu Village Patahnamthitta.

The temple is situated by the banks of river Manimala. Siva (as Mahakalan) & innocuous Parvathy (as Agni Yakshi) are worshiped with equal significance in one Sreekovil (Sanctum Sanctorum), which is one of the rarest of its kind in Kerala. The idols each measure about 4 feet and is installed side by side. The demon-shaped Lord Shiva (Kiratha) has bow and arrow in His arms and Parvati has sword in Her hand.
