Gandhari Amman Kovil

Gandhari Amman Kovil is a decade-old, revered shrine located between Statue Junction and Pulimoodu in Thiruvananthapuram. There is a Kaala Bairava Sannadhi (dwelling place of Sani Bhagawan who is in charge of all planetary effects, as he is eighth in order) in the temple. This is not a traditional Kerala temple as traditional Tamil form of poojas, and practices are followed here.

Navarathri festival is celebrated here each year with various events. The "Bommai Kolu" is the main attraction of the Navarathri Fesitval. The specialty of the festival is that the Mandapam is decorated with of idols of various deities.

A common belief is that devotees who do not get married, visit the temple for fulfilment of their marriage.
