Dakshina Udupi Dhanwantari Mutt

The temple is located at Vishvesha Teertha Nagar, Tripunithura in Ernakulam district. A beautiful temple of deity Lord Dhanwantari Moorthy (Incarnation of Lord Vishnu as Ayurveda Moorthy). This is the only Lord Dhanwanthari idol in sitting posture. The temple was constructed recently, with modern architecture. On Saturday evenings there is Ratholsavam (Rath Yatra) around the temple and Annadhanam (food for the poor and needy) is served.

The Temple is run by the Poorna Prajna Vidhyaapeetam Trust and Udupi Madhwa Brahmin Sabha UMBS(K). The Head office of UMBS(K) is also situated here. There is a very spacious Kalyanamandapam with separate dining hall. The temple has a very large parking space.
