Adichikkavu Sree Durga Devi Temple

Adichikkavu Sree Durga Devi Temple also known as the Adichikavu Devi Temple is one of the oldest temples in Pandanad village, Chengannur. The Durga idol in the temple is worshiped as Vana Durga. The Temple is located near the shores of Pampa River.

The major attraction of the temple is its top open Sreekovil (Sanctum Sanctorum), specially made for Vana Durga. The temple complex also includes Anakottil (Shelter for Elephants) & Sapthaha Mandapam which is built on the west-north side of the temple.
