Karayamvattam Hanuman Temple

This temple is located at the start of Mavelikara township, by the side of the main road. It is situated on the Pandalam-Mavelikara road, near the Mavelikara General Hospital. Although not as old as some of the other temples in the surrounding area, it is a beautifully constructed and well-maintained temple dedicated to Hanuman Swamy. The idol of Hanuman Swamy is 5 feet tall.

There are only two Anjaneya Swamy Temples in the Alappuzha District, so devotees from neighboring districts also come to visit this temple. The temple holds special worship days on all Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, as well as on the days of Shanishwara and Shashti Pooja.
