Pavannur Shri Subramanya Swamy Bhagwati Temple

The ancient Mahal temple located in Pavannur Village of Kannur is a unique structure with three tiers dedicated to Sri Subramanian, Sri Bhagavathy, and Sri Dharmashastav. The temple has an interesting history, having been initially worshipped by Uttama Brahmins in the position of Ksheresha, and later coming under the control of Chirakal Kovilakam.

Today, the temple is managed by Chirakal Kovilakam Devaswam and remains an important pilgrimage site for devotees seeking blessings from the deities.
