Kerala Temples

Udupi Sree Krishna Temple.

The small Temple is situated in Alapuzha Town. It is a 15th Century Temple built by the orders of Pooradam Devanarayanan Thampuran (King) of Chembakasserry.

It is well believed that the beloved Lord Guruvayoorappan (Sri Krishna) comes every day to the sacred temple site to eat the delicious Paal Payasam prepared here by the temple priests. The rituals are performed by Brahmins from Karnataka.
